Funeral Director

Funeral Director, Melissa Unfred

Our Funeral Director, Melissa Unfred, grew up in Lubbock, attended Preston Smith and Tubbs Elementary, Irons Middle School, and Coronado High School. She began her career in deathcare at White Funeral Home, formerly on Broadway. She is honored to bring cremation offerings to her hometown, as her family has a long history of cotton farming in Lynn & Lubbock County, and attending Texas Tech University, as well as supporting the University in their Basketball and Football programs. Melissa saw a need for a more comprehensive and refreshing direct cremation option for both water and flame options in the Panhandle and has a strong working relationship with Miller Mortuary deep in the heart of downtown Lubbock.  It would be her honor to care for your family in your time of need.
