“Charlie” as he was known to family and friends – passed away at age 55 in Corpus Christ, Texas. Charles was “larger than life,” a man of many stories, faiths, and friends.
A semi-trucks driver for years, he changed gears and spent several years as an enigmatic, self-proclaimed Confederate General. In the last few years he gave that up to become a charismatic Messianic Rabbi. He studied online, began preaching, and gained many followers who will greatly miss him.
His ashes will be placed near our mother and maternal grandparents. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Martha Sorensen, and is survived by his older sister, Nancy Ellen, younger brother Eric, and younger sister Susan. He also had many friends and followers across the country who will be deeply saddened by his passing.
