Clark W. Hayward Jr. (“Bill”) formerly of Acton, Massachusetts passed away suddenly on March 25, 2022 in Austin, Texas surrounded by his family. He began his career as a staff sergeant in the Air Force. After serving, he worked for IBM before pursuing the majority of his career as a sales manager for Eastman Kodak in the copy products division.
He was an avid sailor sharing his love of the sea with his family and taking many trips up and down the coast of Maine. But, what he loved most was attending his children’s activities and athletic events. He spent countless hours videotaping soccer games and skating competitions which his family will always cherish. In his free time he enjoyed photography, reading, traveling, and building beautiful pieces of furniture which we still use and enjoy.
Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Alice S. Hayward with whom he shared 39 years of adventures, fun, laughter, and most importantly love! He is also survived by their children Cara and Jay and their spouses Vinh and Ashlee respectively. By a previous marriage he also leaves behind Kip, Andy, Kim, and Kelly and their families.
Bill loved his family above all else and devoted his life to them, and for that we are forever grateful.
