Frankie G. Collins passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021, at the age of 55. He resided in Corpus Christi, TX. He was born in San Antonio, TX to Lee Collins and Thelma Smith. He met his wife, Angela (Schaeff)Collins, at school in 1996. They were married the next year and for 24 years and had 5 daughters together.
Frankie attended Del Mar College where he received his associates in Applied Science for Airframe Technology. This started his career as an Aircraft Mechanic at the Corpus Christi Army Depot in the year 2000.
Frankie was man of God who cared deeply and loved his family and friends. His dry sense of humor, larger than life personality, tireless energy to make an impact in this world for Jesus will be missed by all. He could strike up a conversation with anyone!
Frankie is survived by his wife, Angela (Schaeff)Collins, daughters: Julie Levingston, Raquel Schaeff, Chanele Collins, Rain Collins, and Sarah Collins. His mother, Thelma (Smith)Chenault, and his brothers, Lee Collins, Dwayne Collins, and his sister America Funston and many wonderful extended family.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Collins; father, Lee Collins; and stepfather Lloyd Chenault.
The memorial service will be held on 09/25/2021 at 12:30pm at Corpus Christi Christian Fellowship, 6602 S. Staples St., Corpus Christi, TX 78413.
