On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, Jones Ivan Bell II passed away peacefully at Seton Austin Medical Center at age 70.
Ivan was born on January 10, 1950 in Evansville, IN to Jones Ivan Bell I & Frances (Beights) Bell. Ivan lived the majority of his life in Texas but also called Hawaii home for 13 years. He was an Eagle Scout, attended Military Academy, then attended McMurry University and finally perused a career in construction as a foreman/superintendent, with most of those year working for Baker Triangle Drywall.
Ivan loved his two children, loved to ride & rebuild motorcycles, was an avid fisherman, loved to scuba dive when he lived in Hawaii, and enjoyed spending time with his ‘Texas family’.
Ivan was proceeded in death by his parents. He is survived by his two children, daughter Michelle Bell, son in-law Irv Gross of Weirton, WV and son William Bell of Cochranton, PA, and former wife Teresa Bell-Hornyak of Cochranton, PA. Ivan has three sisters, Betsy (Bob) Story, Judy (Bob) Holloway, Sandy (Kit) Hammond, nieces and nephews Scott Story, Melinda & Wesley Holloway, and Matthew Hammond, and multiple ‘Texas family’ and friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
