Karina was born January 17, 1990, to Linda and Eduardo Torres in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Westlake Highschool in 2008 and was attending Austin Community College in pursuit of her Associate of Applied Science degree. She took the role of a hardworking, devoted, full-time mother and worker as she pursued her degree.
Her interests included spending time with her family and cousins, watching movies, knitting, and playing with her daughter. She devoted much of her time and energy towards working as an Optometrist Technician, caring for the eyesight of her patients.
Karina Torres is survived by her parents, Eduardo and Linda Torres; sisters Jacqueline and Gabriella Torres; and her daughter Lydia Aracely Gonzales Torres. Karina spent her last days in the company of her family beside her.
