Tammy Lea Pauley

Tammy Lea Pauley (age 57) peacefully went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday September 27, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones (with many more sending love from afar).

Tammy grew up in Normangee, Tx and lived in Leon County most of her life. This is where she met and married the love of her life, Patrick.

She and Patrick shared almost 23 years of wedded bliss and she loved Patrick like no other (as he did her).

The only other thing that might give him a run for his money were the grandkids as they held a place of honor in her world and could do no wrong in her eyes. To them, Nana was like no other. She was their friend, teacher, keeper and partner in crime. They all loved her beyond measure.

Tammy was vibrant, full of life, loving, very empathetic, kind, thoughtful, smart and super funny. She was someone you could count on and she was very generous. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.

Tammy’s interests included: football (she was a die hard Cowboys fan) fishing, hunting, cooking, and mechanics.

She enjoyed summer vacations and long weekends (especially at the lake) and spending time with her precious grandchildren, children and loving husband.

We all have a very special place and a memory for and about this extraordinary soul that we had the pure pleasure of having in our lives for such a short time. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Shirley Burns of Normangee, Texas.

Tammy is survived by her husband Patrick, her sons Louis, Jeremy and daughters Rebecca (Ty) and Megan (Ryan) and step-daughter Rebecca Ann as well as her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her sisters Dian, Debbie, Cheryl and her brother Eddie

and many nieces and nephews and friends.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday October 29, 2022 at Lake Limestone Park #3 from 12p-4p.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you send memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior fund (or similar organization that supports our veterans).
